"Great Chinese Food option in Chatswood. Prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are great as well. Recommendations are Xiao Long Bao dumplings, Sweet and Sour Pork with Lychee and the Pork Wontons with Red Chilli Oil and Peanut Sauce. Crispy Eggplant also a strong choice!"

"A refined culinary experience at Mr Stonebowl, Chatswood I dined at Mr Stonebowl on the 7th of January and was genuinely impressed by both the food and the attentive catering service. The ambience was warm and welcoming, with a thoughtful presentation that elevated the entire experience. I ordered two standout dishes: - Six-Minute Abalone (New Recipe): A delicate and innovative creation, beautifully plated and perfectly timed. The abalone was tender yet retained its signature bite, enhanced by a subtle sauce that respected the ingredient’s natural flavour. - Taiwanese-Style Chicken with Three Sauces: Served sizzling in a stone bowl, this traditional dish delivered depth, aroma, and comfort. The chicken was succulent, and the trio of sauces created a balanced and memorable flavour profile. Service was prompt, warm, and professional. The dishes arrived hot, fresh, and beautifully arranged — clearly crafted with care. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates thoughtful Asian cuisine with a creative twist."

"We saw the lineup the week prior so decided to arrive before midday to beat the rush - thankfully the restaurant opens at 11am. Choose your dishes by browsing a physical menu, but ordering is done via a QR code on the table. While some find this impersonal, it helps a lot with language barriers. Meal highlight: Garlic prawn + mussel in squid ink rice. Meal lowlight: Restaurant was sold out of its only beer on the menu."

"came here for dinner and tried a few dishes that were new to us. We ordered the garlic prawn and mussel stir fried rice in squid ink sauce, the mix jelly with okra and flower clams, and the stir fried rice noodle with clam in XO sauce. The squid ink rice was the favourite. It arrived sizzling in the stone bowl with prawns and mussels on top, covered with melted cheese. The rice gets crispy on the edges from the heat which gives it a nice contrast in texture. The XO rice noodles had good wok flavour and the clams were fresh. The mix jelly with okra and clams was different and refreshing. The sauce was salty and went well with the neutral flaor of the okra and combined with the jellyfish made it an excellent dish. Portions are generous and the food comes out fast. The menu has a lot of variety so it is fun to try new things each time. Ordering through the QR system is straightforward and the staff check in often to see if you need anything. The staff were also very nice to let us stay past closing without making us feel rushed and it was a very good experience overall. I would definitely come back again."

"We were after a quick bite before catching a coach to Port Stephens and were thrilled to find this gem. We were seated straight away st a table that accommodated our luggage. An interesting menu with many innovative items I hadn't seen before. It was hard to choose. We went for the smoked duck with roasted pepper sauce, steamed prawn wontons and barbecue pork ribs. All were delicious. The bill including a couple of drinks was just under $50 and we got to our bus in plenty of time."
